PLACEMENTS FOR THE IAF PERSONNEL IN THE CORPORATE SECTOR

29 September 2011 : 1430-1530 hrs : Live from CII DelhiThe Confederation of Indian Industry is organising an Online Session on “IAF Placements” which is scheduled to be held on 29th September 2011 from 1430 to 1530 hrs. (Participants to login from 1400 hrs onwards)
Objective
The main objective is to get the IAF officers and personnel placed in suitable sectors to complement the growth of these sectors through their knowledge and expertise. Their talent can be exploited and honed in the existing scenario for accelerating the growth in the Corporate Sector. This will help in a big way to bridge the existing skill gap in various verticals and also add value in training the future leaders of the corporate sector who will be leading the economic growth of the nation.
As an apex industry body, CII would be happy to act as an active interface between the Air force and Indian Corporate sector in taking the suggested proposal forward. CII is committed to provide all possible assistance to make this proposal a great success in the interest of the Country as a whole.
Wg Cdr Karandikar, Joint Director, IAF Placement Cell, Pensions & Welfare, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, would address CII members on the subject. He is presently posted in the Air Headquarters and also handles the security/vigilance projects.
